Abuela visits Maia from exotic Santiago de Chile

Maia's birth was big news not only around her little 'hood, but also in very remote and exotic parts of the world. This week, she welcomed a very ilustrous visit: her grandmother (aka "abuela") coming from the other side of the world, from a funny land called Chile. So these days, while mama and papa break their backs at work, Maia has lots of fun and regaloneo with her abuela. That's what abuelas are for, right?

New gorgeous pictures will be displayed on your computer screen when you click here.

Maia came all the way from the quiet suburbs of Westchester County to the wild JFK international to welcome her abuela's visit! Tia Rosa had the privilege to be the first member of her extended family, spread out around the world, that came to visit her. It's not only mama and papa at home these days! Abuela rocks!

"Aaahh, so you are the famous abuela, huh? I've heard about you... people say 'watch out for Tia Rosa.' But you don't look scary at all. And I'm gonna charm you to death, watch out."

Maia and her papito chillin' out in our summer terrace having a good 'ol bottle of milk. Is she big or what?
