Viva La Revolucion de Maia!

Check out our daughter wearing what could arguably be the most conspicuous item in her closet: a Che Guevara shirt. Our friend Carolina sent it from the epicenter of the leftist community in the US: Berkeley, Republic of California.

If you are not into political statements, then enjoy this image of our lovely Maia wearing bunny ears and a pompom tail for Easter. Cute or what?

Every now and then, when we have 1/250 sec. to spare in our busy lives of first-time parents, we gather the whooooole family and take a picture (and that's a huge accomplishment, seriously). Here's the latest one.

More pics here!

Two and a half Austrian babies finally meet

Maia, Paul & Sissi could finally meet and play together... for at least a while. Maia's cousins, nine month-old Paul and six month-old Sissi flew all the way from Austria to meet us and have a great time in New York. At least that was the plan. There was just a small detail you all know from the previous post: Maia was a bit sick.

And well, just guess what happened. Yes: for the next three weeks, everybody at home, babies and adults, hosts and visitors, girls and boys, everyone got sick at one point. We will spare you the details, but it was baaaaaad. No fun. But at least we have a bunch of cute pictures to show.
