A very sunny summer, this one

Maia, being the "active" and "curious" girl she is (the baby manual clearly says: do not use negative- sounding words like "restless" and "annoying"), can't possibly spend these hot days indoors -no way. As a result, we have been going out like crazy people. We do the river, we do the lake, we do the parks and playgrounds around town (and there's quite a few here in the 'burbs).

We even took Maia to the Midwest. And, yeah, you guessed it: it wasn't much cooler out there. So, we did the river, we did the lake, we did the parks and playgrounds. And we had fun with our friends Oscar, Carmen and Andrei. Lately we've been riding 'round in our great new bikes, so we can go to new exciting, exotic locations, like the river, the parks, and the playgrounds. You know how it goes.
